Leone E. Cole, age 95, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her home. She was born on January 21, 1921 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Ernest and Maud (Ford) Ransom and had live most of her life in the Willard and Norwalk area. She was employed over the years in area restaurants and retired in June of 1986 from the Huron County Children’s Receiving Home.
She is survived by her two children, Dean (Bonnie) Strimple of Willard, and Dee Ann (Jacque) Bradford of St. Mary’s, Ohio; six grandchildren, Kenneth (Patti) Bradford of Westerville, John (Susan) Bradford of Columbus, Jill (Mark) Dietz of Cincinnati, Michelle Provost of Centerville, OH, Christopher Shane Strimple of San Antonio, TX, and Kymberlee (David) Lamb of Lexington; nine great grandchildren, Jessica and Emily Bradford, Jay and Danniel Dietz, Ryan (Jessica) Provost, Kyle (Ramah) Provost, Christian, Adeline Grace and Jonathan Lamb; two great-great grandchildren, Caleb and Micah Provost; a sister, Donna Mae Chambers of Greenwich; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Strimple in 1955; and a brother, Mayo Rowen.
A graveside service will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio and announced at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.secorfuneralhomes.com
