Darlene Foos - Dec 4, 2010

To the family of Lucy, you have my deepest sympathy. I worked with Lucy in Galion and have some very fond memories. We had some good times. I’m so glad we got to spend a little time with her at the hospital. Four of us went down and she seemed to be pretty good that day. Hope to see her in a better place down the road. Dan and Darlene Foos

Joyce Breighner - Dec 4, 2010

Dar Striker - Dec 3, 2010

Larry, Mary & family, I’m so sorry I couldn’t make it to the funeral home or funeral. I’ve been in the hospital myself. Lucy was my buddy & sidekick in high school and for years afterwards. We had so much fun together. I was devastated when I heard she had cancer; we were able to talk a few times to stay in touch. I’m very proud that she was my friend. Sending my sincerest sympathy to your family. She will be missed by us all. Dar Striker

Dear Fike Family,
I am so sorry for your loss please accept my sincere condolences at this time. Something that I personally have found to be a great source of comfort is the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28,29 where we see that God is going to bring our loved ones back to life. Also at Revelation 21:4 we see that God is going to eliminate all of the causes for why we deal with sorrow, pain and even death itself. It is my sincere hope that these thoughts bring your family comfort at this time. Once again I am so sorry for your loss.

Mike & Cathy Forman - Nov 27, 2010

Sorry to hear about Lucy – great person and mail carrier. One funny story we have about Lucy when she was our mail carrier – we love halloween and one year we had an old guy sitting behind the wheel of the pick up truck at the end of our drive. It seems Lucy needed to drop off a package but kept waving the “old guy” to leave first then she would drive in the lane. That “old guy” wasn’t going anywhere – it took several waves from Lucy before she discovered it wasn’t real.

Larry, Mary and family, You have our deepest sympathy. We are sure Lucy is now resting in peace with your mom and dad. She was always so good at basketball when we were in school. We will always remember her that way.
