Marcella Ayres, age 48, resident of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at her home. She was born on May 6, 1957 in Willard, Ohio to Velman and Chelsea (Barton) Sexton and had been a resident of the Willard and Plymouth areas the majority of her life. She was a Willard High School graduate, class of 1975 and attended the Guinea Corners Church of God in Willard. She was employed in the medical field and professionally successful in her Physicians Weight Loss Franchise. She enjoyed singing, music and playing the piano.
She is survived by her parents, Rev. Velman and Chelsea Sexton of Willard; a son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Julie Ayres of O’Fallon, MO; two daughters and a son-in-law, Laura and Brian Coccia of Reynoldsburg, OH and Sarah Ayres of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Kaylie Ayres, Molly Ayres and Anna Coccia; six brothers and five sisters-in-law, Logan and Susan Sexton of Deland, FL, Arvis Sexton of Burghaw, NC, Volon and Nancy Sexton of Arlington, TN, Travon and Sandy Sexton of Virginia Beach, VA, Van and Sue Sexton of Willard, and Tim and Sandra Sexton of Willard; a sister and brother-in-law, Narda and Randy Osborne of Vacaville, CA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday, September 9, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will he held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ralph Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorials contributions may be made to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Katrina Relief.
