Maria Eugenia Camacho (Maru), age 52, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 10, 1967, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Jesus Romo and Socorro Martinez.

Maru was very outgoing, always the one to start the conversation with others. She loved her family and the friends she made throughout her life. A woman of faith, she was very active in her church, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, as she helped in organizing the Kermes and Posadas.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Adolfo Camacho; four children, Nadia (Alvaro) Altuzar, Jennifer (Ricardo) Camacho-Hernandez, Lesly Camacho, Adolfo Camacho Jr.; three grandchildren, Yahir and Sara Altuzar and Evelyn Hernandez; parents, Jesus Romo and Socorro Martinez; and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Maru was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and grandmother, Agapito and Magdalena Romo; maternal grandmother, Felipa Martinez; sister, Ashley Romo; step mother, Janice Romo; uncle, Jose Luis Martinez; cousin, Ruth Martinez; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Adolfo Camacho Aguilar and Juana Ramirez.

Family and friends may gather at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard, on Saturday, August 17, 2019, from 10:00 AM, until the time of her funeral mass at 11:00 AM, with Father Mike Diemer officiating. Adolfo, children & Family I’m sooo very sorry to hear about Your wife/mother’s passing on FB I wish I had got a chance to say goodbye to her. She was a very kind woman. Whom Rudy cared for very much and you all too. They are both in the presence of the lord with my baby Jacob and our families. I sooo look forward to the day when we are all reunited again!!! My family’s & I’s sincere apologies , thoughts & Prayers ??????? go out to you all during this difficult time and always I wish I had knew she wasn’t doing well I would have liked to have had a chance to say Ty to her for being there with me and you all when my beloved Rudy passed away. I’ll never forget her loving nature with Rudy in his last moments of life. She will be forever missed. God Bless you all.
