Oscar Waddles, 83, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby, Ohio. He was born on May 13, 1936 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Culbert and Lizzie (Osborne) Waddles.

Oscar was the store owner of True Value Hardware in Shelby and a former Plymouth Fire Chief. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and taking care of his flower garden.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Linda Waddles and Randy and Pam Waddles; grandchildren, Jason Waddles, Brooke (Andy) Miller, Erin (Casey) Keysor, Danielle Abrams, Rochelle Nelson, Sarah Waddles, Amanda Rock and Autumn Maggard; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Pauline Tuttle; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Waddles and Sue Waddles; numerous nieces and nephews; and former spouse, Thelma Waddles.

In addition to his parents, Oscar was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Akers; granddaughter, Alissa Maggard; sisters, Lillian Tuttle and Verna Triplett; and brothers, Tommy and Larry Waddles.

A special thank you to the Crestwood Care Center Staff for their caring and compassion while Oscar was in their care.

A graveside service for Oscar will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.secorfuneralhomes.com.

Eddie, Randy and families, I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Uncle Oscar when we were growing up and the times we spent at your house. I am sorry that I can not attend the graveside service but know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you all in the days to come. Marcy
