Martha J. Moorman, age 70, resident of Shiloh passed away on Monday, December 12, 2005 at her home. She was born on September 25, 1935 in Shelby, Ohio to the late Clarence and Ethel (McCarthy) Steele and had been a Shiloh resident the majority of her life. Mrs. Moorman was a 1953 graduate of Shiloh High School and a homemaker. She is a member of the Plymouth Church of Christ and was a Past Worthy Matron of Angelus Chapter of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, bingo and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Moorman, whom she wed July 3, 1954; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jean West of Crestline; Suzon and Jeff Kreinbrink of Shelby; a son, Clarence Moorman of Grove City, Ohio; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Dorothy Steele; and Roger and Mary Kay Steele; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mariam and Avery Alfrey; Beverly and Duane Wilson; and Laura and Daniel Beattie all of Shelby; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Steele.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Wednesday from 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am on Thursday with Minister Don Beverly officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio.
