Martin L. Mott, age 78, resident of Willard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on December 30, 1936 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Hurless and Frankie (Brillhart) Mott. Martin was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retired from Janesville Products in Norwalk and worked at Ace Hardware in Willard after retirement. He attended the Church of the Master and enjoyed the outdoors and his grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, David Mott of Greenwich, Ohio; and a daughter, Tracie Mott (fiance’ Reese Suddith) of Greenwich, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Austin and Walker Mott, Sadie and Emma Suddith, Alizabith and Audriella Walton, and Josh and RJ Suddith; a great granddaughter due in November and one sister, Sharon Burton of Steuben, Ohio.
In addition his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel (Goldsmith) Mott in 2007 and sister, Janine Carnes.
Friends may call at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, June 15, 2015 where the funeral service will be at Twelve Noon on Tuesday with Reverend Stephen Sickel officiating. David and family. So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of visiting Martin and Hazel when I was around 10 years old . (I am 54 now). My parents are Dennie and Gail Tuttle. Martin and Hazel were so sweet, and I always looked forward to visiting. David you were just a small child then around 4 years old I think. Prayers for you all.
