Mary S. Rodriguez, age 73, of Woodbine St., Willard, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2005 in Willard Mercy Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born on May 24, 1932 in Raymondville, TX to the late Carlos O. and Maria H. (Perez) Luna and had been a resident of Willard since 1950. She was a member of the St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard.
She is survived by her husband, Liborio R. Rodriguez Jr.whom she married Sept. 22, 1951; two sons, Caesar and Donna Rodriguez of Mentor, Ohio and Kenneth and Mary Rodriguez of Gainesville, FL; two daughters, Alva and Hernan Cordoba of Deltona, FL and Julie and Heraclio Ruiz of Willard; 10 grandchildren, Robert Cordoba of Orlando, FL, Stephanie Diaz of Deltona, FL, Mathew Rodriguez of MA, Domenick Rodriguez of Kuwait, Ben, Cara, and Jordan Rodriguez of GA, and Jarrid Rodriguez, Victoria and Marciana Ruiz of Willard; five brothers, Carlos Luna Jr. of Willard, Elianzar Luna of Mt. Gilead, Baldemar Luna of Columbus, Robert Luna of Willard, and Nick Luna of Milan; and two sisters, Hilda Arredondo of Louisana and Rebecca Hale of Plymouth. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ruben Luna.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Thursday from 7-9 P.M. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M., where there will be a prayer service held at 8:45 P.M. on Friday. Funeral services will be held at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard.
