Matthew C. Holloman, age 35, of Plymouth, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born on November 22, 1979 to Jim and Debbie (Horner) Holloman. Matt is a 1998 graduate of Plymouth High School. He is affiliated with the Sons of the American Legion Plymouth Post 447 and was a member of the Cleveland Browns Backers. Matt was a former Mickey Mart employee in Plymouth.
In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by two sisters, Crystal (Roby) Patton of Willard, Carla Hicks of Plymouth; one niece, Lydia Patton; one nephew, Adrien Patton; maternal grandmother, Janice Kinsey of Platteville, CO; step grandfather, George Kinsey of Paulding, OH.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald “Jack” Horner and paternal grandparents, James and Betty Holloman.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio Monday, January 19, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with family friend Eric Hedeen officiating. Burial will be at later date in Little London Cemetery in Shelby, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Matthew Holloman benefit at Citizens bank in Plymouth. My heart goes out to your family. Matt was a generous and caring and strong. He was loved by all that knew him. When dad was sick he was right there with our family. So helpful and caring.
