Mildred E. Vesterman, age 83, of Second Street, Willard, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004 at the Willard Mercy Hospital following a short illness. She was born Oct. 2, 1920 in Crawford County and has lived most of her life in Willard. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Willard. She was also a member of the Willard American Legion Auxilary and the VFW. She was an avid bingo player. She retired from the Pioneer Rubber Company in Willard
She is survived by 3 daughters and son-in-law, Janice Stewart, Veronica & Bill Fazio and Gerri Vesterman, all of Willard; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and SueVesterman of Willard; grandchildren, Corey Vesterman of Shelby, Andrea & Brett Blankenship of Medina, Blake Martin of Florida and Dustin & Rosemary Stewart of North Carolina; great granddaughter, Alexis Vesterman; sister-in-law, Anna Marohn of Toledo.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, John Vesterman Jr.; parents, Russell & Sevilla (Strohm) Shupp; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the Funeral Service will be Friday at 2:00 P.M., with Fr. Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard.
