Monica Pine, age 80, of New Washington, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at The Willows at Willard in Willard, Ohio. She was born on January 13, 1940 in Liberty Township, Seneca County Ohio to the late Edward and Lucille (Williams) Hohman.
Monica was a 1958 New Riegel High School graduate. Along with being a homemaker, she worked as a secretary at Gem Manufacturing in Bascom, Ohio and was an assembler for C.E. White in New Washington. She enjoyed sewing, baking, reading and word puzzles.
Monica is survived by her children, Cathy Harmon and Richard Pine; siblings, Jim (Joyce) Hohman, Ferdie (Carol) Hohman, Jerome (Susie) Hohman, Rita (Dale) Laibe and Steve (Bonnie) Hohman; brother-in-law, Steve Schroeder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Pine, whom she was married to for 55 years and passed away on August 30, 2020; and siblings, Vincent Hohman, Stella (Arthur) Rhinehart, Mary Schroeder and Judy (Gene) Price.
