Naomi Cummings, age 89, of Peru Center Road, Willard, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at her home. She was born Dec. 22, 1915 in Orville, Ohio and has lived in Willard all of her life. She retired from the Veterans Service Administration in Norwalk. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Willard. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Stars in Willard, where she was a Worthy Matron 4 times. She was also a Supreme Organist for the Emblem Club in Galion, where she was a member.
She is survived by a son, Chuck Cummings of Willard; 2 grandchildren and spouses, Chad & Stacy Cummings of Willard and Candace & Herbert Bores of Tiro; 3 great grandchildren, Annie Cummings, Katelinn Howell and Jessica Bores; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, Charles C. Cummings.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 P.M., with Rev. Kathryn Rhoads and Rev. Don Beverly officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, OH. Memorials may be made to the Eastern Stars.
