Norma M. Patton, age 82, resident of Plymouth passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 in Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born May 21, 1923 in Plymouth, Ohio to the late David and Ruth (Brinley) McGinty and had been a life long Plymouth area resident. A 1941 graduate of New Haven High School, Mrs. Patton was employeed with the former Fate-Root-Heath Company in Plymouth for 43 years. She is a member of the First Lutheran Church in Plymouth where she had taught Sunday School and a member of the Rizpah Chapter of the Eastern Stars.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Ann Barber of Plymouth; three grandchildren and spouses, Rhonda and Chad Montgomery of Shelby; Raina and Greg Waldruff of Columbus; Ryan and Crystal Barber of Plymouth; nine great grandchildren, Dustin Barber, Stephanie, Alex and Sydni Montgomery, Jacob and Brady Waldruff, Dakota, Jace and Reece Barber; four sisters, Elsie Predieri of Willard; Betty Rudd of Plymouth; Velma Vanderpool of Plymouth; and Kayrol Fenner of Plymouth; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Toy C. Patton in 1989; two sisters, Ellen Baker and Laura Predieri.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Friday with Reverend Leonard Shatkus and Reverend Marilou Brook officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorial expressions can be made to the family.
