Pauline Stearns, age 92, resident of Willard passed away Friday, August 5, 2005 at home. She was born on July 13, 1913 in Willard, Ohio to late William and Edith (Evans) Kenne and had made her home in Willard after her husband’s retirement. She was a graduate of Willard High School and was a former employee of the Pioneer Ballon. She is member the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Eastern Stars and enjoyed reading, baking, dancing, traveling and fishing.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William and Sybil Stearns of Celina, TX; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy and Roger Kipp of Willard; and Jackie Engel of Hilton Head, SC; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dale and Joyce Stearns of Whispering Pines, North Carolina and a sister-in-law, Virginia Stearns of Woodstock, GA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Arthur Stearns in 1977; an infant daughter, Vicky Stearns; and a brother, Robert Kenne.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM where the funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend James Barkenquast officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio.
