R. Kathleen Ray, died Monday, May 5, 2014 at The Willows in Willard, Ohio. She was born December 1, 1927 in Willard, Ohio to Isabelle Nigh Rohrs and Harry Gail Rohrs, who are deceased. She graduated from Willard High School, Class of 1945., the same year she married John A. Ray and moved to Plymouth. Her husband John passed away in 1979 and she moved back to Willard in 1990. She retired from MidWest Industries in 1993 after 33 years and prior to that she had worked at Wilkins Air Force Depot in Shelby for ten years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Plymouth and the Ten Year Club of Midwest Industries.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Charles Reinhart of Plymouth; four grandchildren, Greg Taylor of Shelby, Traci and Rodney Reed of Delaware, Ohio, Shelley and Travis Alsept of Plymouth, and Tony and Theresa Reinhart of Wakeman, Ohio; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Rohrs of Willard; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Ray; her parents; a brother, William Rohrs; and two sisters, Norma Seiler and Virginia Rohrs.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and where the funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Linda Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth, Ohio. Memorial expressions may be made to Stein Hospice of Sandusky, Ohio.
