Randall E. McDaniel, age 73, resident of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 16, 1944 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Joseph C. and Norma E. (Gannett) McDaniel. Randy was a graduate of South Central High School and was a member of the Willard American Legion and a former member of the Willard Moose. He worked at R.R. Donnelley's, where he retired after many years of service. Randy was an animal lover and had enjoyed motorcycling, Cleveland sports, sprint car and NASCAR racing, country music, hunting and cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Scherley) McDaniel, whom he married on June 28, 1992; children, Michelle McDaniel of Greenwich, Stacy (Kent) Kick of Greenwich, Brett (Dawn) McDaniel of Willard, Michael McDaniel of Rome, Brian Spencer of Rome, and Carrie VanZoest of Willard; grandchildren, Rusty, Brandon, Ron, KC, Kortney, Alexis, Jordyn, Landen, Natalie and Isabella; great grandson, Aiden; 2 brothers, Tom McDaniel of Mansfield and Pat (Carol) McDaniel of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. and Norma E. (Gannett) McDaniel
His visitation will be on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio, where an open remembrance will be at 6:00 PM, where you can share your memories/favorite past time with Randy.
