Reva Montgomery, age 87, resident of Willard, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at the Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard, with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 15, 1919 to the late Ted and Katie (Dunn) Picklesimer and had been a resident of Willard most of her life, where she was a homemaker and dedicated mother. She is a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Bernard R. and Barbara Montgomery, Samuel D. and Linda Montgomery, and Randy L. and Gayle Montgomery all of Willard; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Carl Lund of Norwalk and Joyce and Steve Riter of McComb, OH; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 6 half-sisters.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. Montgomery on May 9, 2006; and her parents, Ted and Katie (Dunn) Picklesimer; step-father, George Lovely; 2 brothers, Mitchell and Ishmael Picklesimer and a half-brother.
Visitation will be Friday from 7-9 P.M. and Saturday from 10-11 A.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, where the funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Seth Auman officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, OH. Memorials, instead of flowers, may be made to the Richmond United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
