Richard P. Buss, age 61, resident of Willard passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born November 18, 1943 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Claron and Clara (Heydinger) Buss and had been a Willard area resident all his life. He is a graduate of Willard High School and a retired pressman from R.R. Donnelly and Sons in Willard after 39 years. He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the Willard Elks Lodge #1370 and served in the US Army. He enjoyed his grandchildren, family and working on his 1957 Chevy.
He is survived by his wife 37 years, Hilda (Phipps) Buss, who he married September, 21 1968; two sons, John Buss of Willard; and Ryan Buss of Cleveland; a daughter, Adela Krerowicz of Columbus; five grandchildren, Jazmine Krerowicz, Jacob, Evan, Claire and Hanah Buss; two brothers, Walt Buss and Bill Buss both of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the St. Francis Xavier Cathiolic Church with Father Stanley S. Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard. Memorial expressions can be made to the Willard City Schools or St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
