W. Robert “Bob” Seel, age 61, of St. Rte. 98, Plymouth, passed away Sat., March 13, 2004 at the Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, PA. He was born June 30, 1942 in Bellevue, moved to Monroeville and then moved to Plymouth in 1958. He was the owner and operator of Seel’s Automotive in Plymouth. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Plymouth. He was a past Chief of Police in Plymouth and a past member of the Civil Defense. He was an avid truck puller for 38 years and was a member of OSTPA.
He is survived by life partner, Mary “Toots” Fidler of Plymouth; son, R. Bradley Seel of Shiloh; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Lindy B. Seel of Shiloh and Cindy & Tracy Renninger of Willard; 2 grandchildren, Danniell & Eric Renninger of Willard; sister, Betty (Seel) Heal of Willard; nephew, Kevin Harpham of Norfolk, Virginia.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Walter Ernest and Hazel Mae (King) Seel.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. and Friday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, where the Funeral Service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. George Lambert officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorials may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.
