Roberta W. Garcia, age 67, of Willard, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at the Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard, following a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 21, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Robert & Leatha (Jenney) Kieffer. She was a member of the Willard Athletic Boosters. She was a longtime employee of the Pioneer Rubber Co. in Willard and also employed by AMF and Copperweld in Shelby.
She is survived by 2 sons, Scott Garcia and Dar Striker of Willard and Steven & Shannon Garcia of Alvarado, TX; 5 grandchildren, Kaleigh A. Mathias, Cory R. Garcia, Justin D. Garcia, Zyl S. Garcia and Kieffer V. Garcia; 2 aunts, Barbara Gahr of Willard and Mildred Oliver of Granville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Leatha Kieffer and a sister, Carole Lynn Galli.
