Sadie M. Hayes, age 78, of Willard, Ohio, transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, November 16, 2008 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born March 2, 1930 to the late Rev. Christopher C. and Sadie C. Smith.
She is survived by her sisters Martha and Ida Smith of Cleveland, Ohio, Maxine (Amos) Thompson of Willard, Ohio, Mary Davis of Atlanta, Georgia, Lillian (Dick) Gregory of Plymouth, Massachusetts and one sister-in-law, Thelma Smith of Chicago, Illinois.
She is preceded id death by her husband, Winston Hayes; parents Sadie C. and Rev. Christopher C. Smith, Sr.; brothers Harold, Willis, John, Lee and Rev. Christopher Smith, Jr. and one sister Edna Hargrove. She was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews as well as many cousins.
Visitaton will be Friday, November 21, 2008 from 7-9PM at the First Baptist Church on Elizabeth Street in Willard, Ohio and on Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 12 noon-1PM at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio where the funeral service will immediately follow at 1PM.
