Willis Fox, resident of 5154 Edwards Rd., Greenwich, Ohio died unexpectedly at his home August 11, 2005 at the age of 63 years. Born April 17, 1942 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, he is the the son of David and Ellen (Hoover) Fox. On October 22, 1964 he married Minnie (Zimmerman) Fox. They resided in Pennsylvania until 1976 when they moved to Huron County, Ohio. He was a farmer all his life. He was a member of the Valley View Mennonite Church at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife; seven children and their spouses, Anna Mary (Allen) Steiner of Shiloh; Raymond (Alta) Fox of Shiloh; David (Lavonne) Fox of Shiloh; Luella (Linford) VanPelt of New Waterford, OH; Elaine (Titus) Coblentz of Ellsenore, MO; Leroy (Lila) Fox of Columbiana, OH; Lamar (Carla) Fox of New Waterford, OH; 37 grandchildren; his father, David Fox; four brothers, Harvey, David, Norm and Clarence Fox; four sisters, Laura Fox, Ada Leid, Anna Mae Zimmerman and Ellen Fox. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen (Hoover) Fox; two brothers, Marvin and Raymond Fox; and one sister, Alma Fox.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the Woodlawn Mennonite Church, SR 13, 2 miles north of Shenandoah, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church on Monday at 10:00 AM with David Horst, Clarence Neuenschwander and Arthur Amstutz officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Mennonite Cemetery. Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio assisted the family with arrangements.
